I built this demo using my own needs — a complex prosthetic right hip, metal rod down my femur, nerve damage, muscle wasting, a shorter leg, venous insufficiency, migraines, perimenopause and sertraline (which makes heat harder to handle). Bologna scored 3.5 out of 5 for heat, but that is an average. For my combination, summer would be genuinely risky. Late October? A different story entirely.

Everyone is calling Gothenburg the perfect coolcation. So I checked whether "cooler" actually means easier for my body, or just chronic pain in a raincoat. I have a complex prosthetic hip, metal rod in my femur, nerve damage, muscle wasting, a shorter leg, double-jointed toes, venous insufficiency, migraines, and I am on sertraline which messes with heat regulation. I am also travelling with my children, so it has to work for them too.

The demo walks you through what everyone sees for free (terrain ratings, climate, toilets, food), then unlocks the personalised report (in red): whether the terrain is feasible for my prosthetic hip, real temperature data for every school holiday period scored against my exact conditions, whether I can stay centrally, whether I can manage the trams and boats with the children, and three day plans built around my energy levels.
